All egg purchases are a Preorder.  Your payment for eggs will get you on the list for eggs, and we work down this list as we ship.  Depending on which eggs you purchase, they could ship instantly or be delayed a few weeks or a few months.  We can no longer issue refunds.  If you are not ok with the possibility of a delay, it is best you purchase your eggs elsewhere.

Eggs may come from Buff or Chocolate Silkie pens, depending on availability when it is your turn:
  • Buff Silkies
    • Naked Neck (NN) possible
    • All feather types possible
  • Chocolate Silkies
    • Silkie feathered only
    • Possible color outcomes include:
      • Chocolate
      • Black
      • Blue
      • Mauve
      • Splash Variations
 
Because this is a Hen’s Choice listing, the final mix depends entirely on daily egg collection and availability.
 
Extras may be included when available but are never guaranteed.

  • Hatch rates are NOT guaranteed.
  • Once eggs leave our hands, we are NOT responsible for USPS handling, delays, damage, or temperature exposure during transit.
  • Refunds will NOT be issued due to hatch rate, shipping delays, or eggs failing to develop.
  • If you are not comfortable with the risks of shipped hatching eggs or with Hen’s Choice selection, please do NOT place an order.
 
Preorder & Shipping Information
  • All Silkie Hen’s Choice eggs are placed on a PREORDER LIST.
  • Orders are shipped in the order payment is received.
  • Wait times may vary based on laying rates and availability.
  • If hens slow down in laying, shipping delays may occur, but orders will ship as soon as eggs are available.
  • Please do not place an order unless you fully understand and agree to our preorder and Hen’s Choice process.
 
Fertility & Egg Quality
  • We test fertility regularly and do not ship eggs unless we are seeing good development in our own incubators.
  • Eggs that fail to develop after shipping do not automatically indicate infertility—shipping conditions alone can impact viability.
  • Fertility testing may occasionally pause shipping. If fertility is not satisfactory when tested, orders are delayed until fertility improves to provide the best possible chance.
  • We guarantee fresh eggs only, carefully collected and packed with care.
 
Refund Policy
  • All sales are final. No refunds once payment is received.
  • Orders remain on the preorder list until fulfilled.
  • This preorder system allows us to ship the freshest eggs possible.
  • We will try to accommodate special timing requests when feasible, but shipping dates are never guaranteed.

  • Please understand that all eggs are preorders! I do understand that you have the ability to pick a shipping month, but please understand that things can happen beyond my control - For example: Broodies, chickens slow down with laying, fertility test did not go well, and sometimes even life can create delays. Though I try my best to not let my personal life affect egg shipping sometimes it does.

    If this is an issue with you, please do not order eggs from our farm.
